PagePinch Privacy

Private by default. Shared by choice.

PagePinch processes and stores scans, recognized text, page edits, typed fill text, fixed dates, checkmarks, typed initials, signature strokes, and placement data on your device, and sends a PDF elsewhere only when you choose a system Save or Share destination. Device backups may include app data according to your settings.

Verified capability

Printed-text recognition runs on the device.

Printed-text recognition and searchable-PDF preparation do not require a PagePinch account or a developer-operated document server.

Verified capability

Scans and recognized text are stored in the app's protected local library.

The working library, including page edits and fill-and-sign marks, stays under iOS data protection on the device and follows the user's device backup settings.

Verified capability

Typed text, fixed dates, checkmarks, typed initials, and drawn signatures are stored locally and flattened into generated PDF copies.

PagePinch does not send typed entries or drawn signature strokes to a developer-operated document processor.
