Printed-text recognition runs on the device.
Printed-text recognition and searchable-PDF preparation do not require a PagePinch account or a developer-operated document server.
PagePinch Privacy
PagePinch processes and stores scans, recognized text, page edits, typed fill text, fixed dates, checkmarks, typed initials, signature strokes, and placement data on your device, and sends a PDF elsewhere only when you choose a system Save or Share destination. Device backups may include app data according to your settings.
Printed-text recognition and searchable-PDF preparation do not require a PagePinch account or a developer-operated document server.
The working library, including page edits and fill-and-sign marks, stays under iOS data protection on the device and follows the user's device backup settings.
PagePinch does not send typed entries or drawn signature strokes to a developer-operated document processor.
Y Corp Technologies is the developer responsible for PagePinch. This policy applies to PagePinch version 1.0 on iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17.0 or later. The company website privacy policy separately explains this website.
Local-first with no PagePinch account, tracking, analytics, ads, or developer-operated document server. PagePinch processes and stores scans on your device and sends a PDF elsewhere only when you choose a system Save or Share destination. Device backups may include app data according to your settings. The protected local data also includes recognized text, page edits, fill entries, signatures, and initials.
PagePinch stores the page images a user scans or imports, recognized text, document titles, folders, tags, favorites, crop, rotation, and filter choices, page organization, typed fill text, fixed inserted dates, checkmarks, typed initials, drawn signature strokes, and mark placement. Temporary generated PDF data is created on the device for preview and user-directed Save or Share. This information remains protected on the device unless the user chooses a system destination for a PDF copy.
Local information is used to review captured stacks, suggest possible duplicates, display, organize, merge, extract, split, copy, move, search, edit, fill, preview, and export the user's documents. PagePinch does not use document contents or signature drawings for advertising, profiling, biometric authentication, identity verification, or training a developer-operated service.
Tracking is not used. PagePinch includes no analytics, advertising, or third-party crash-reporting service and does not automatically send diagnostics to Y Corp Technologies. Apple may separately receive information under the user's device and App Store settings and Apple's privacy practices.
PagePinch requests Camera access only when the user chooses to scan paper. Camera images become pages in the local library. The user can review or change Camera access in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
PagePinch has no account, sign-in, profile, or developer-operated authentication service.
Drawn signatures and typed initials are visual document marks. PagePinch does not analyze them as biometrics, verify a signer's identity, create certificate-backed digital signatures, provide tamper evidence, guarantee legal validity or recipient acceptance, or detect or edit AcroForm fields.
PagePinch uses Apple system frameworks for scanning, text recognition, drawing, document handling, and system Save or Share destinations. It includes no third-party SDK or developer-operated document processor.
Automatic app networking: not used. User-directed sharing: available only when the user chooses a destination. The selected destination, such as Files, Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or another installed app, receives the generated PDF, including any flattened text, date, checkmark, signature, or initial marks, under that destination's own terms and privacy practices.
Local records remain under the user's device and backup settings until deleted in the app or the app is removed. Deleting a document removes its local record, page files, edit metadata, and fill-and-sign marks. Removing PagePinch removes its local library from that device. Temporary preview copies are removed by the app, while exported files remain with the destination selected by the user and must be deleted there separately.
PagePinch does not operate a sync service. The local library—including typed entries, initials, drawn signature strokes, and placement data—may be included in the user's iCloud or computer backup according to device settings. A restored device backup may restore PagePinch data.
Apple processes the $9.99 one-time App Store purchase under Apple's terms and privacy practices. PagePinch has no subscription or in-app purchase and does not receive payment credentials.
The user controls Camera permission in Settings, decides whether to keep a possible duplicate, chooses page edits and organization, can remove fill-and-sign marks before export, can export a PDF through a system destination, can delete individual documents in PagePinch, and can remove the app and its local library from the device. Because PagePinch has no account or developer-held document store, Y Corp Technologies cannot retrieve, correct, export, or delete the device's local library on the user's behalf.
PagePinch is a general-purpose document utility and is not directed specifically to children. It has no account, behavioral advertising, tracking, or developer collection of document data.
PagePinch uses iOS data protection for its local library and minimizes network exposure by keeping the core workflow on the device. Scans, typed entries, and signature marks can be sensitive. No security measure is absolute; users should protect the device with a passcode, review generated PDFs, and choose sharing destinations carefully.
The core PagePinch document workflow does not send document data to Y Corp Technologies for processing in any country. Support email and this website may be handled by their respective service providers and may be processed outside the user's region.
