MettleKin Support
MettleKin
Workout logs often reward total activity while making it easy to repeatedly train favorite movements and overlook supporting muscle groups.
Earned growth stages are permanent while current condition softens only slightly after a seven-day grace period and is capped at a twelve-percent reduction.
Crystallin progresses through five permanent illustrated stages, with six muscle-group gemstones whose glow reflects recent training and a Bodybuilder or Athletic final form at Stage 5.
Exercise ideas prioritize a trailing or stale subgroup and honor the equipment selected by the user.
Users can create reusable workout routines, browse their ordered exercises, and tap the current workout to log each saved step.
Users can optionally record positive calorie amounts and, if they choose their own target, see simple progress toward it.
Who this is for
Adults who want a light, low-maintenance way to notice variety across strength workouts without turning exercise into a complex training plan.
Start or resume a workout
- From the character home, tap Start workout.
- Choose the saved Full Body routine, another saved routine, or create a new routine.
- When a routine starts, the panel closes and the current exercise appears below the smaller Crystallin artwork.
- Use the left and right arrows to browse the routine without logging. Tap the current exercise card only when the step is complete; MettleKin logs its saved effort and advances.
An unfinished routine and its current position are saved on the device and resume after relaunching the app.
Create and manage routines
Open Start workout to create a routine with a name, ordered exercises, and an effort for each step. Saved routines can be started or deleted from the same panel. Routine management is also available from the settings gear under Saved routines.
Understand Crystallin
Workout points unlock five illustrated stages permanently. At Stage 5, the selected final form can be Bodybuilder or Athletic. Freshness is separate from unlocked progress: a gemstone has a strong glow when its muscle region was worked in the last 0–6 days, a subtle glow after 7–13 untouched days, and no glow when it has never been worked or has been untouched for 14 days or more. Missing days do not remove a gemstone or reverse a stage.
Log and remove fuel
Tap Log fuel on the home screen to record a positive calorie total. A target is optional and is chosen by the user. Open the settings gear and choose Fuel history to review or delete entries. Fuel never changes workout points, gemstone freshness, or exercise suggestions.
Find history, muscles, and preferences
The top-left settings gear opens Muscles, Exercises & history, Fuel history, Saved routines, Crystallin, and Preferences. Workout and fuel entries can be deleted from their history screens. Preferences contains equipment choices, public Support, Privacy, and Safety links, and the confirmed Erase all data action.
Local storage, backup, and deletion
MettleKin has no account, cloud sync, or export workflow. The app keeps a local recovery copy inside its app container and Apple device backups may include that container according to the user’s device settings. Deleting an individual entry updates the affected totals. Erase all data removes the local primary save and recovery copy after confirmation. Removing the app also removes its local container; a separate Apple device backup may retain an earlier copy according to Apple’s backup settings.
Troubleshooting
- If a routine appears not to advance, tap the exercise card rather than an arrow. Arrows browse only and intentionally do not log.
- If a gemstone does not glow, check whether that region has a logged workout within the last 13 days. A never-worked or 14-day untouched region has no overlay.
- If points look unexpected, review the workout entry and its primary and supporting subgroups under Exercises & history. Deleting an entry recalculates the affected totals.
- If an entry or routine does not appear after relaunch, reopen the app once so the local recovery copy can be checked. If the issue remains, contact support before erasing data.
- Public Support, Privacy, and Safety pages require an internet connection only when opened; core tracking remains available offline.
Accessibility
MettleKin supports VoiceOver labels, Dynamic Type, dark appearance, and Reduce Motion on iPhone. If larger text obscures an action, rotate back to portrait, dismiss and reopen the panel, and include the text-size setting in a support report. The iPad app uses the same phone-first interface and is not separately optimized.
Purchase
MettleKin is a USD 9.99 one-time paid download.
Redownloads and refunds
There is no subscription or in-app purchase to restore. App Store billing, redownload availability, Family Sharing eligibility, and refund requests are handled by Apple. Redownloading the app does not restore local MettleKin records unless Apple restores an eligible device backup.
Known boundaries
- Muscle points, balance, condition, and companion growth are motivational game mechanics, not measurements of muscle growth, recovery, symmetry, or training quality.
- Exercise mappings are approximate. MettleKin does not diagnose imbalance, assess form, choose weights, generate a medical or rehabilitation program, or guarantee outcomes.
- MettleKin does not calculate a recommended calorie intake, estimate calories burned, track macros, identify foods, or subtract activity from intake.
- The first release does not integrate with HealthKit, Apple Watch, gym hardware, online accounts, social services, or third-party workout history.
- App data is stored locally and may be included in the user's device backup according to their Apple device settings.
Safety
Points, stages, freshness, suggestions, and calorie totals are motivational and recordkeeping features—not health measurements or individualized advice. Read the MettleKin exercise and nutrition safety boundary.
