The short version
No accounts. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. FacetPilot does not collect or transmit plan, project, note, document, or usage data. A source PDF or image is copied into private local storage only after you select it. A bench-sheet PDF leaves the app only when you direct iOS to share or save it.
Who this policy covers
This policy describes FacetPilot version 1.1 for iPhone and iPad, provided by Y Corp Technologies. It is separate from the Y Corp Technologies website privacy notice, which describes information involved when you visit this public website.
Information FacetPilot collects
None. FacetPilot does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, analytics, crash-reporting, login, or third-party data-collection software development kits. It has no developer-operated server, cloud database, or synchronization service.
The app does not automatically send plan content, project content, device identifiers, diagnostics, location, contacts, photos, or usage activity to Y Corp Technologies.
Information stored locally
FacetPilot stores plan names, source notes, gear tooth counts, exact angles, ordered index positions, enabled passes, stone or material descriptions, progress, resume cursor, pace preference, lap or grit, literal cheater notes, corrections, freeform notes, record dates, and a user-selected PDF or image source diagram in the app’s private local container.
This information is used only on your device to display your plan library, bench session, progress, resume point, and exports. Y Corp Technologies cannot view this local content.
PDFs and user-directed sharing
A bench-sheet PDF is generated on device after you request it. FacetPilot gives the file to Apple’s system share interface; you choose whether and where to save or send it.
If you choose iCloud Drive, another cloud-backed Files provider, email, messaging, or another destination, that provider may process the file under its own terms and your account settings. FacetPilot does not choose the destination, and Y Corp Technologies does not receive the file.
User-selected source diagrams
When you attach an authoritative source diagram, Apple’s system file picker gives FacetPilot temporary access to the PDF or image you selected. FacetPilot copies that file into its private app container and does not upload it or retain access to the original location.
Replacing or removing the attachment deletes FacetPilot’s local copy. Deleting its stone project also deletes the owned copy. Copies held in device backups remain subject to Apple’s backup and restore behavior.
Network access and public links
FacetPilot has no backend and does not automatically transmit plan, project, or usage data. If you tap a Support, Privacy, or Safety link, iOS opens the corresponding public Y Corp Technologies page in a browser. Website handling is described in the website privacy notice.
Permissions and Apple-protected resources
FacetPilot does not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, Bluetooth, local network, or the tracking identifier. Selecting, saving, or sharing a file uses Apple’s system interfaces and the destination you choose.
Accounts, authentication, and third parties
FacetPilot has no account creation, sign-in, social features, or developer-operated authentication. It includes no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, crash reporting, login, payment, or cloud-storage SDK.
Purposes, sharing, and sale
Local app information is processed on your device solely to provide the features you request. Y Corp Technologies does not receive, sell, rent, license, or share that information and does not use it for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
Retention, deletion, backups, and sync
Plans and projects remain until you delete them or remove the app. Attached source files remain until you remove or replace them, delete their project, or remove the app. Removing the app deletes its local container, subject to Apple device backup and restore behavior. Exported files remain with the destination you selected until you delete them there.
Depending on your iOS or iPadOS settings, Apple may include app data in an encrypted iCloud or computer backup. Y Corp Technologies cannot access or delete those backups or exports.
Your privacy choices
You can review and edit local records, open or remove attached sources, export a bench-sheet PDF, delete individual records, remove exported files from their destination, or uninstall FacetPilot. Because Y Corp Technologies does not hold app data, there is no server-side plan or project record for us to access, correct, or delete.
App Store purchases
Apple processes the paid App Store download under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. FacetPilot does not receive or store payment credentials. Y Corp Technologies may receive transaction and sales reports Apple makes available to developers; those reports do not include plan or project content.
Support correspondence
If you email support, you choose to provide an email address, message, and any attachment to Y Corp Technologies and the email providers used to deliver it. That information is used to answer the request, protect the service, and keep necessary support records. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Do not send a bench-sheet PDF unless support specifically requests it and you have reviewed its contents.
Children’s privacy
FacetPilot is a general-purpose craft utility and is not directed specifically to children. Because the app collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.
Security
Local app data is protected by the iOS or iPadOS app sandbox and your device security settings. No storage method can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Protect your device, exports, and selected file-provider accounts with appropriate access controls.
International processing
FacetPilot app data is not sent to Y Corp Technologies for processing in any country. If you email support or choose an external sharing destination, the providers and recipient may process that information in other countries under their terms and applicable law.
Changes to this policy
If FacetPilot data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The effective date will also be revised.
