The short version
No accounts. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. Temari Atlas does not collect or transmit project, measurement, document, or usage data. A PDF or JSON backup leaves the app only when you direct iOS to share or save it.
Who this policy covers
This policy describes Temari Atlas version 1.0 for iPhone and iPad, provided by Y Corp Technologies. It is separate from the Y Corp Technologies website privacy notice, which describes information involved when you visit this public website.
Information Temari Atlas collects
None. Temari Atlas does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, analytics, crash-reporting, login, or third-party data-collection software development kits. It has no developer-operated server, cloud database, or synchronization service.
The app does not automatically send project content, device identifiers, diagnostics, location, contacts, photos, or usage activity to Y Corp Technologies.
Information stored locally
Temari Atlas stores project names, simple- or combination-division choices, circumference and unit preferences, stage, colors, workshop checklist progress, four pole-to-pole readings, base-segment and combination-edge readings, opposite-pair confirmations, tolerance, notes, archive status, and project dates in the app’s private local storage on your iPhone or iPad.
This information is used only on your device to calculate and display maps, targets, audit results, workshop progress, marking strips, and saved projects. Y Corp Technologies cannot view this local content.
PDFs, JSON backups, and user-directed sharing
A marking-strip PDF is generated on device after you request it. A JSON backup is generated from your local projects after you choose the backup action. Temari Atlas provides these files to Apple’s system share interface; you choose whether and where to save or send them.
When you import a backup, the app reads the file you select through Apple’s Files interface and merges valid project records into local storage. The file is not uploaded to Y Corp Technologies.
If you choose iCloud Drive, another cloud-backed Files provider, email, messaging, or another destination, that provider may process the file under its own terms and your account settings. Temari Atlas does not choose the destination and Y Corp Technologies does not receive the file.
Network access and public links
Temari Atlas has no backend and does not automatically transmit project or usage data. If you tap the Support or Privacy link, iOS opens the corresponding public Y Corp Technologies page in a browser. The website’s handling is described in the website privacy notice.
Permissions and Apple-protected resources
Temari Atlas does not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, Bluetooth, local network, or the tracking identifier. Selecting, saving, or sharing a file uses Apple’s system interfaces and the destination you choose.
Accounts, authentication, and third parties
Temari Atlas has no account creation, sign-in, social features, or developer-operated authentication. It includes no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, crash reporting, login, payment, or cloud-storage SDK.
Purposes, sharing, and sale
Local project information is processed on your device solely to provide the features you request. Y Corp Technologies does not receive, sell, rent, license, or share that app information and does not use it for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
Sharing occurs only when you direct Apple’s share interface to a destination. The chosen recipient or provider then controls its copy.
Retention, deletion, backups, and sync
Local projects remain until you delete them or remove the app. Archiving a project does not delete it. You can delete individual projects inside Temari Atlas. Removing the app deletes its local container, subject to Apple device backup and restore behavior.
Depending on your iOS or iPadOS settings, Apple may include app data in an encrypted iCloud or computer backup. Files you export may remain in the Files provider or recipient you selected until you delete them there. Y Corp Technologies cannot access or delete those backups or exported copies.
Your privacy choices
You can review and edit projects in the app, export a portable JSON backup, delete individual projects, remove exported files from their destination, or uninstall Temari Atlas. Because Y Corp Technologies does not hold project or usage data, there is no server-side project record for us to access, correct, or delete.
For support correspondence held by Y Corp Technologies, you may request access, correction, or deletion by using the contact address below, subject to limited legal retention requirements.
App Store purchases
Apple processes the paid App Store download under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. Temari Atlas does not receive or store payment credentials. Y Corp Technologies may receive transaction and sales reports Apple makes available to developers; those reports do not include your project content, measurements, backups, or exported PDFs.
Support correspondence
If you email support, you choose to provide an email address, message, and any attachment to Y Corp Technologies and the email providers used to deliver it. That information is used to answer the request, protect the service, and keep necessary support records. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and any legal obligation. Do not send passwords, payment details, or a project backup unless support specifically requests it and you have reviewed its contents.
Children’s privacy
Temari Atlas is a general-purpose craft utility and is not directed specifically to children. Because the app collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.
Security
Local project data is protected by the iOS or iPadOS app sandbox and your device security settings. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Protect your device, exported backups, PDFs, and selected file-provider accounts with appropriate passcodes and access controls.
International processing
Temari Atlas project data is not sent to Y Corp Technologies for processing in any country. If you email support or choose an external sharing destination, the providers and recipient may process that information in countries other than your own under their terms and applicable law.
Changes to this policy
If Temari Atlas data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The effective date at the top of this page will also be revised.
