Hanzi Writer Data tag v2.0.1
Ink Caravan includes forty-four unmodified character JSON files from the upstream hanzi-writer-data v2.0.1 Git tag, derived from Make Me a Hanzi and Arphic Technology fonts. The initial twenty-six files were imported on July 28, 2026; eighteen additional files were imported on July 29, 2026. All forty-four files are redistributed verbatim.

How the data is used
The files provide static stroke paths and medians for the expected Simplified Chinese character currently presented by the app. Comparison runs locally. The files do not execute code, contact the upstream project, or receive app or user information.
